Public Art > Jackson

One of the most fun projects we've undertaken! Donald Lipski's "Jackson" is a 1960 city transit bus, which was located in Maryland, shipped to a trucking facility in Denver and then driven to our studio. Our team went at it with torches and wrenches removing all mechanical components. Dramatically altered the body and added 15,000 lbs. of structural steel. Located at a transit facility in Reno Nevada the bus is 25' in the air and on a 30-degree incline which all adds to the exaggerated perspective. All exterior and interior lights have been replaced with long life LED's which pop on at night.
